Position Overview: Provides support for the day to day Print Service and Facilities related functions for our Bend office. Works cross functionally between Print Services and Facilities in order to assure a high level of internal customer service and productivity in each facet of the department. 


** This is a Temporary Full-Time position. Approximate length of assignment: 2 months **


Essential Responsibilities:

  1. Mail Pick-Up/Sort and Distribution: Pick up mail daily from the Post Office and designated billing offices. Sort/process incoming and outgoing mail, distribution of inter-office deliveries, and courier services.
  2. Production/Copy Work: Assist with company production projects, including copying, printing and binding of submitted jobs. Operate high-speed, high-volume, multi-function networked photocopiers, printers, inserts, and binders.
  3. Mechanical: Perform basic maintenance on print center equipment, which may include replacing toner, removing paper jams, and basic troubleshooting of equipment until service can repair equipment.
  4. Facilities: Perform basic maintenance including patching, painting, lighting replacement, and plumbing needs. Work with supervisors and Executive staff on projects such as setting up of areas with necessary equipment and furnishings. Assist with work space moves and changes. Provide supplemental snow removal when necessary.
  5. Electronic Database: Use Microsoft Office tools to prioritize and track various job requests, maintain inventories, and communicate with employees and vendors.
  6. Supply Management & Storage: Organize and maintain up-to-date inventories of envelope and paper to ensure appropriate levels of stock are always on hand.

Supporting Responsibilities:

  1. Meet department and company performance and attendance expectations.
  2. Follow the PacificSource privacy policy and HIPAA laws and regulations concerning confidentiality and security of protected health information.
  3. Perform other duties as assigned.


Work Experience: One year minimum experience working with high volume printers in a production environment is preferred. One year minimum experience of general building maintenance required. 


Education, Certificates, Licenses: High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Valid Oregon driver’s license is required. Good driving record and insurability is required.


Knowledge: Duties are performed in a fast paced office environment where all employees do what is needed to get the job done. Strong Microsoft Outlook/Word/Excel skills are a must. The ability to manage multiple tasks at one time is critical to success in this role. Requires excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work closely with others as well as independently. Solid judgment and strong attention to detail is important. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required for working with staff and vendors.

Environment: Work inside in a general office setting with ergonomically configured equipment. Travel is required approximately 5% of the time.


Physical Requirements: Stoop and bend. Sit and/or stand for extended periods of time while performing core job functions. Repetitive motions to include typing, sorting, and filing. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Ability to climb a stepladder. Manual dexterity. Ability to read and comprehend both written and spoken English. Communicate clearly and effectively.
