  • Overview

    Serve as a technical and strategic lead for all marketing digital assets including websites, email platforms and marketing automation systems including marketing connectivity to CRM systems. Work hand-in-hand with the marketing team, 3rd party vendors/agencies and developers to implement digital experiences. Responsibilities include strategy and project management for web design, content strategy and development.


    1. Consult, research and brainstorm effective web content, design and development solutions to optimize the end experience for our consumers. May include creation of wireframes, presentation of ideas and concepts.
    2. Complete highly detailed work in managing implementation of projects including website builds, email marketing campaigns, and online advertising launches.
    3. Successfully maintain multiple projects and tasks. Manage web development projects from initial concept to completion. Assist in the development of timelines and communications documents, including prioritization of deliverables and communicate change requests.
    4. Research advertising plans, platforms, and opportunities.
    5. Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
    6. Analyze and report website statistics, including Google Analytics, Google Search Console, social monitoring/insights platforms and management tools.
    7. Stay apprised on, and train others on emerging marketing technology, specifically around the consumer’s digital experience.
    8. Build and improve upon existing web development processes.
    9. Manage digital project management collaboration systems
    10. Interact effectively with partner agencies, marketing team, and internal clients.
    11. Lead internal meetings, as appropriate (e.g. discovery, planning and status meetings). Coordinate business activities by maintaining collaborative partnerships with key departments.
    12. Actively participate in various strategic and internal committees in order to disseminate information within the organization and represent company philosophy.
    13. Coordinate business activities by maintaining collaborative partnerships with key departments.
    14. Assist with hiring, staff development, coaching, performance reviews, corrective actions, and termination of employees.
    15. Actively participate as a key team member in department meetings.
    16. Actively participate in various strategic and internal committees in order to disseminate information within the organization and represent company philosophy.



    Supporting Responsibilities:

    1. Meet department and company performance and attendance expectations.
    2. Follow the PacificSource privacy policy and HIPAA laws and regulations concerning confidentiality and security of protected health information.
    3. Perform other duties as assigned.




    Work Experience: Minimum of five years of professional experience in web design, writing, editing, user experience and user interface experience required. At least two years’ supervisory experience required.  Related healthcare experience, including demonstrated leadership preferred and project management experience strongly preferred.   


    Education, Certificates, Licenses: Bachelor’s degree (focus in Communications, Information Systems, or similar) required.


    Knowledge: Desired experience includes a background in advertising and marketing, content strategy, digital marketing systems.  Project management fundamentals, and experience with various methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, RAD). Experience working with HTML, WYSIWYG editors, and/or content management and marketing automation platforms.  Online marketing experience, preferably with a healthcare or insurance company.  Project and design management for online ads, websites, email, and/or social media.  Strong understanding of web technologies, such as php, .net, and HTML.  Experience with SEO and Content Marketing/Content Development.  Significant experience with Google Analytics and Google Search Console.  Experience in personalization, A/B testing, multi-variate testing, lead capture, scoring and nurturing programs.  Exceptional attention to detail, the ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities, and the ability to adapt and grow with the position.

    Environment: Work inside in a general office setting with ergonomically configured equipment. Travel is required approximately 10% of the time.


    Physical Requirements: Stoop and bend. Sit and/or stand for extended periods of time while performing core job functions. Repetitive motions to include typing, sorting and filing. Light lifting and carrying of files and business materials. Ability to read and comprehend both written and spoken English. Communicate clearly and effectively.
